Got the car back yesterday from MOT. Been waiting since i was 17(18 years)to drive a stag and it did't dissapoint. Well to begin with!
A couple of faults have have raised there ugky heads. The first one is a noise/vibration on over run. This didn't appear until after aruond 30 miles following some hard accelerating and slowing down from around 70mph. It doesn/t happen every time and never at low speed. sometimes it is quite violent and other times it is just a faint vibe. Checked the diff level and it was low. topped up with EP90 3/4 of a litre. took out again and still the same.
Wouldn't the diff have the fault all the time.
The other was when the kids are in the back the o/s rear wheel catch's on the wheel arch now and again. Looks like the arch potrudes a little more at this point. The vehicle isn't concours so i pay try a rubber mallet on it.
Hope someone could shed some light on the diff situation.
The kids loved it. They are 4 and 5. My boy is calling it a race car.
Cheers Neil
