I always liked them ever since a friend had a new convertible, I seem to remember him getting single figure mpg though. Unfortunately it was in primer and his favourite colour was similar to Sapphire blue.

Yep about 8mpg - the MM is positively frugal by comparison!

Looks like an Interseptor MK 2,6.2L and is quite expensive at nearly 6 grand. The latest incarnation of the Jensen Car Co. are requiring an old Jenny to make into a new one for customers,costing over 100,000 quid!So people are asking lots for there old scrappers,this summer I've seen mot'd runners for less than 10 grand.And my 44 tonner does more mpg!Still I quite fancy one...Comment
