Happy New Year Folks

To those I have met and can call friends and those that I have yet to have the pleasure of doing so.

And thank you to those who have helped out with the odd part and advice here and there and hope I have been able to contribute as well.

I hope 2012 brings you all what you wish for. And a long roof down Summer, I know it's a way off yet but I will be coming up to the Lakes in June with some other SOC folk and would love to get together with some of you from that part of the country

Well next year is going to be cool i will have a nice new engine to listern too, on wedding duty in june (photo opertunity) and i will drive more than 500 miles in my stag

This year was good great trip to Jersey in the summer, plenty of new car shows explored and met many stag owners new and old, plus our great club nights hosted by young Martin.

Would like to thank the forum for all the help it has given me, Stagmuffin for his time on helping me with my rebuild, and all those who came to Jersey and making it a truly brilliant 5 days

Happy New Year to everyone on here, thanks to those who have given me help and advice throughout 2011. I start 2012 without my Stag on the road...withdrawal symptoms already!

All the very best to everyone - used the Stag on the last day of 2011 to take me to my Saturday Snooker match this morning,
and if I sober up enough, hope to take it for a run out tomorrow. Being Tenerife - the locals celebrate their Xmas Eve on January 5th, 3 Kings day is Jan 6th when they give each other presents - so Xmas and New Year still has a few more days to run over here - don't know if I can keep up all the celebrating, especially as my wife is now out of hospital and is on the mend.

Just off out to celebrate the New Year and watch all the Fireworks they traditinally let the New Year in with.

PS. Below are some photos taken on Xmas day with the kids lining up at the Pool to get a present from Santa (Papa Noel), top right & bottom left is the misses who managed to attend just a few days after having her operation and being released from Hospital. She's still a bit thin, having lost 3 stone just before the op, but I'm sure she will get back to normal in time.

Happy New Year to all from Devon.

I was intending to go on my last drive of 2011 today, but sadly never got around to it before the rain started, thanks to having to crawl around under my Son's VW Golf welding the exhaust to make it last a few more weeks before he sells it. This got me thinking. His Golf was new in April '03 and still carries the original exhaust. Back in 'my day' it would be on its 4th by now. Shows how manufacturer's OE exhausts have improved in quality.

Tomorrow morning looks dry, so maybe get the first drive of 2012 - assuming the hangover permits.....

Happy New Year from Down Under where it's already arrived and I'm happy to report it's a lovely new year, blue skies, light winds 20 Deg. Only one earthquake so far this year and only a 3.3. I hope it's a great year for everyone!
