hi guys , could someone enlighten me as how to remove the window switch , the rocker works downward but not upwards , and i think there is crud in the switch, and i dont want to do more damage , which i am prone to do , bricklaying good, mechanics electrics not so good ,

You lift the wood panel (coin tray) by the ash tray at the ash tray edge with a small hooked tool, that will revile the screws that hold the panel that they are fitted in, you can then just pop them up from underneath

Of course, what Ian has said is exactly right, however you can, sometimes, get away with just levering them up, as they are just a push fit. Use something to protect the wood veneer though.

thanks for the replies , the last thing i did last night on the car was to spray some wd on the rocker switches ,this morning i tried the switches before trying to prise them out and they worked, i now have windows that go up and down , another step forward ,
