Sorry Stags :-(

Hi All

Has anyone seen the 2 sorry looking Stags on E bay.One Yellow with supposed light damadge (i would hate to see what he calls heavy lol) and a very sad mk1 in white with floors that rotten there is a creeper growing over half the dash no bonnet but it does have the v8 and is a manual.I hope someone on here saves one or the other.

Yes I think you mean this one: What a sorry site this is, I've also seen a Red Stag in a worse state on Ebay yesterday.... so very sad to see these great cars just rotting away!!

I agree. It's always sad to see a car in such a state. I always feel sorry for the cars when I read Practical Classics and the Rust In Piece section. There must be so many classics rotting into the ground. That Ivy beats the little flowers people put in the vase in new Beetle anyway. Perhaps a good way to cover up bad veneer.

Is this the red one you saw on e-bay,if it is, it is hopefully going to be saved but not for a while.The shell looks pretty rotten in places and good in others.I will make a proper assessment when it arrives..Am I mad ??

Hi, No the red one seems to have vanished.... it was in a really poor state, one of the pictures was of the tax disc on the screen dated 1988!! so it's obviously just sat there for some 24 years!!!! such a shame...

I saw a really rough complete red stag on e bay it was being sold complete by Martin at Just Triumph I saw it up close what a damn shame it was totally shot probably been stood in the open no cover for 10 years at least it was an early MK1.Wonder if it was the same one?.
