Mota lita steering wheel, the gap

I have just fitted a lovely Mota Lita steering wheel but as many of you with the same will probably have the ugly gap between boss and column, I have a cure for mine found on ebay, its a Jaguar mk2 or Daimler v8 250 saloon steering column gator, the site is no_sensible_offer_refused item number 110811258508 or contact the seller, paid £4.00 for mine looks great if your into rubber, its worth a look if like me every time i walked past the car all i could see was that damn gap i know its not that big but its like the grand canyon if its annoying you...Steve

Hello Mike its easy to fit no cutting, remove the centre nut, remove the steering wheel, slide the small end of the gator over the steering shaft as far as it will go, refit the steering wheel and tuck the big end inside the boss,job done, I think it looks fine much better than a gap...Steve

I emailed him Andrew and said it fits a stag with a mota lita hope he dont get done under the trade description act!...Steve

Yes i think it looks the part as well Mike, just luck finding it on ebay and lucky the chap put the measurements on the site otherwise I wouldn't have give it a second look ...Steve

I thought you would like it Alan, I would have thought Mota Lita would have made one, but they don't I checked their site, if they did i bet that wouldn't have been £5.98 thats for sure...Steve
