British (Scottish) justice

The German lorry driver "continued on his way North to Fife but he was soon stopped by police. He was given a warning but will not face charges."
If this had been a British driver on the continent would he have got the same justice?

If he had been a British driver he would have been done and the Company probably would have as well.

they had a change of Law in the EU a couple of years ago whereas all countries could enforce driving fines into the country of origin, and take them to the courts in that country to recoup the fine and costs, there were only 2 countries that abstained from the vote, the UK and IRELAND!!!!
