two steps forward one back

[new to this]

fitted new dash and centre console today,
got to take clocks out again one bulb blown,also one bulb on the console gone,also tried to fit new radio but it won't go back enough so that will have to come out again

p.s i now need a new choke cable

I think you're being an optimist. One step forward and two steps back is a fairly typical evening for me these days !

Hi Dave , you are not alone. I am doing the tappets on both cylinder heads. One is finished and I only had one tappet left to do on the other. I did that and while giving everything a final check found another that had been OK previously was now out of limits. Just trying to summon up the energy to remove the cam once again.
keep at it it will all be worth it in the end.
