    glueing seat covers?

hi there,i bought aldridge seat foams and covers 3 years ago and am just about to start fitting them! i can see where the old foams were glued to the frame, but the old covers were not glued to the foam at all,is this correct? the old foams had a covering of sheet sponge about 3/4 inch thick all over with slits cut for the tightening straps,do i need to do this or does the cover just go straight to the foams? regards simon.

    Hi Simon,

I fitted ine directly onto the foam and they seem allright in the front, not so sure on the rear base though.

    Rgds, john.

PS, not glued, just snuggly fitted.
