I would love to see this one in the flesh so to speak, who ever did the mod has really thought about it and done what looks like an excellent job. As said above a really good mod if you have kids who get a right battering in the back with the top down and no side windows!
As for the white one with the hard top still on, perhaps he is like me and has to keep the car outside and his soft top like mine isn't very good!:X
I can't wait for a weekend when we have more than an afternoon of good weather so i can drive the Stag with the top down. Since July 07 I have only made one journey with the top down!

apparantly the white one was bought off a forecourt in 1978 and the owner did not realise that it was a convertible underneath till he joined the owners club last month.

If you remember the news from July last year Tenbury was under water 3 times during the summer lets hope it doesn't happen this summer as some of the town still hasn't reopened or been rebuilt!!:?:?
So in answer to your question yes it rains A LOT in Tenbury Wells and Worcestershire in general.

This looks good. I'd be interested to know what the affect is in the back. Fed up with the lad hiding under a coat in the back Itried hardtop windows without success, last year I put together a sort of rag top targa top using 1/2 a soft top attached to therear rail and attached to T bar with pairs of mole grips (Ipswich hasn't heard of Velcro). I was mostly worried about the pressure points, envisaging the whole lot descending on the following car entering a tunnel.
I found thewind now came in under the T bar and into your face rather than behind, with and without rear window in but it was better tho. Just needs a bit more work. The advantage was I could detach the whole lot, put in boot and raise normal roof if it rained.
