shall i go in garage and connect my new choke cable or stay in the warm
Hello Phil i can tell you from experience that fitting the choke cables on a stag can be very frustrating and i guarantee it will make you hot under the collar, thus killing two birds with one stone, enjoy...Steve
Hello Dave yes they are, there is not much room for manoeuvre when trying to feed the cables through behind the heater and all the wiring etc.etc.its pot luck if you can do it first go but dont hold your breath....Steve
Use a thin rod and tape the cables to this and poke it through before you try to put it in place on the dash and try not to have the cables twisting over each other.
The new cables are not up to the same quality as the original equipment and would recommend putting your foot on the throttle when pulling the choke lever out.

Something I mean to do with mine sometime is to fit the choke knob on the right hand side - easier to reach and a slightly less tortuous route for the cables !
Adrian, aren't you a spark? You should have a fish wire!!
Jason
I have a couple of fishing tapes plastic and steel, and a small collection of wire pulling / fishing rods which are about 1m sections that screw together with a selection of hook ends..
Arrrhh my secret is out to much info a new choke cable should be easy
