    help with part identification

    Hello Triumph friends,

can you please help me to identify these two "horsehoes"? They definetely come from a Triumph car, but obviously not from a Stag or a TR6.
Both are not made of chromed sheet metal, but massive cast (brass?) parts, which were chromed afterwards. The rear is "hollow" with walls about 1.5 mm thick. The length is about 10 inches each.

    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Kind regards,
    Dieter.

Is there anything resembling a part No on the inside of the casting?

        Hello,
There is no number in the casting inside. Could these parts be from a Triumph 2000 or 2500 rear end?
        Kind regards,
        Dieter.

          Hello,
I found it: Triumph 2000/2500 rear wing mouldings, part nos. 814623SH and ....24SH.
          Kind regards,
          Dieter.

            Well done Dieter.

I'd been looking as I thought, at first, it was a 1300 but then saw that yours were too short for that. Tried Toledo however they were the same but didn't get to 2000.

            Glad you solved your mystery.

            Cheers

            Julian
