    RHD-LHD conversions

Anyone any idea how difficult it is to swap a RHD stag over to LHD? Reports say that the bulkhead is different but all the BL cars I know of the period use a common bulkhead for LHD and RHD and just block off the excess holes with blanking plugs. I'm aware of the obvious things that need swapping!

I know somebody who's done L/H too R/H, will give him a ring later.

Had a word with a guy who's converted three LHD to RHD.....He says you might have a problem with the wiring loom, and may need to be changed.
        Hope this helps.

Welcome to the forum. Not something I have done but there was a comment on here that it was difficult and not worth the trouble or money. It may have been from someone in France.

Check out the cost of buying and shipping a car from USA they seem to come up quite regular and most are in decent shape, if you find one that's been in Arizona all its life that's the one to look at, reason they do not rust.

            good luck

I'm doing the opposite at the moment and I'd recommend against it. I'm only doing it because the car was in pieces when I switched countries. You might want to check the certification requirements in your country for conversions before starting. Triumphs didn't seem to do symetrical bodyshells unlike many other UK car companies.
You can essentially cut one section out of the front bulhead and the same size piece from the other side and swop them over. It's an imperfect solution but it works. Moving the windscreen wiper holes and re-doing the wiper rack was a pain. If you're not doing the work yourself it's definitley not worth it. Sell it and buy a LHD one.
