Just trying to place an order with Paddocks but when I "add to cart" I get an error message and I can't see a phone number or email address anywhere on the site.
Anyone else had this problem? and could someone pass on their contact details please.

I really feel for sorry for poor old Paddocks - it seems like they got an awful outfit to do their website. Apart from it taking months, it's full of programming errors, some of which are absolutely basic stuff like having a "home" button on every page to get you back to the start. If you want to order 24 bolts, you can't enter 24 but have to increment one-by-one and each time the page reloads. Countless other stuff too. I hope they are not getting fleeced for the website as well. Hopefully they can get the mess cleaned up by a professional (like a 15 year old teenage nerd). I dread to think how their business has suffered and they certainly don't deserve that.

When I do a search, it comes up with a selection of part nos, but you dont know which one is for stag, as no description, and some dont have pictures as yet. Prices are still good though. It is a shame, but I hope they dont suffer too much.

With regards to the contact details, press F5 or crtl F5 and when the screen refreshes it should be ok.

There must have been a problem which has now been fixed and the site just needs to be refreshed.

I have just had the same problem with Paddocks - I get so far on checkout, but then it says "can't calculate shipping" - that's after I clicked "within EU" for location. So I thought I would phone them, but there are no contact details on the website. So I emailed them using the address given a few posts above. Got an answer straight away, but I still needed to phone them, but still no number. I got through using the number given above and ordered by phone. They say that the contact details are in the top right hand corner of the home page above the "welcome" box with the TR 6 in it. Whilst talking to them and moving the mouse around that area, the "contact" clickable box appeared in light green and then disappeared as I moved on. I clicked on it an all the info appeared. This info is supposed to be up there permanantly and they think that this problem might just be associated jusst with IE 8, which I am using. Anyway, they are now on the case.

I ordered yesterday online (took a few hours as I wanted 40 clips and you have to increment the quantity one-by-one ) and I got the same message because of not being able to automatically calculate the postage to EU Mainland. However, the message also displayed the phone number to ring. Graham answered straightaway, said he can see the order on the screen, took card details over the 'phone and despatched the stuff an hour later.

Paddocks are really being let down by their website designer - an online shop is really not rocket science anymore these days. By the way, do they still do that discount for online orders like before the website crash?

"Web designers" have a habit of not checking their code against different browsers.

Its all fixed now. I ordered parts Wednesday and Friday delivered Thursday and Saturday. Items can now be added to the cart then you can continue shopping and change the qts just before checkout. Then it auto updates the basket total when you select which part of the world you are in. All pretty simple and efficient now.

Had to send them an email though to because they just delivered to my billing address rather than my preferred delivery address at work so that there is some one to take delivery if the parcel is too big. No problem this time round but could get to be an issue when I order the shocks and springs if they do the same mistake.

                            altogether pretty good service.
