Not to put too fine a point on it, Andrew - changeable! 60-70 knots this afternoon. That is after flat calm yesterday. I spent 2 nights in Shetland last week as the weather was too bad for helicopters to fly, so got to work 2 days late . With luck, all should be good for coming home on Wednesday. At least it is warmer than on the mainland at present.

You are welcome to all of that Dave - I spent a week on Piper Alpha (6 months before the disaster) and it cured me of any lingering romantic ideas I might have had of life on North Sea oil & gas rigs! Mind you, the food was incredible.
Not exactly an emphatic win though was it. If that's as well as they both play, the can expect some tough times ahead. They should both treat it as a wake up call.
You're right Pete, wouldn't surprise me to lose to France, Wales and Ireland In this round of the 6 Nations unless we improve. Still if we look at the team as a work in progress to the next World Cup at least we can look ahead with some hope once the youngsters get some International experience.
Paul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. One runs, one doesn't
Moray Stag, I used to be a BP man in Aberdeen and other points east. I prayed never to be sent to the likes of Azerbaijan and they were answered. I gave up the good life for the warm south west of France and the pic that i took this evening shows why! P1000773.jpg

Well done you sassenachs - we'll get you next year at Twickenham.........
That's what happens when you pick an old lag at stand off instead of being brave as a coach and going for the future with either Greg Laidlaw, Duncan Weir or Ruaridh Jackson. By the way, did any of you down South notice how your promising future players who turn out for the Saxons got on on Friday evening ? Helps keep life in balance I feel..........

Slainthe !
Hmmm, stuffed like a turkey springs to mind. Perhaps the Scottish A team should have played in the main match?
