Heater fan control knob

Hello All

This is probably a very sill question :shock:and one which I am slightly emabaressed about asking but:-

"how do you remove the black knob off the fan control switch so that I can feed it through the hole in the facia?"

I have a spare switch sitting here in front of me and I can see a small pin of sorts in the side of the black knob but it is only accessable from one end. Do you have to remove it, if so how and how do you then refit it?

Hi Bruce

You should be able to push the pin in and it will release off the shaft with a good pull and replacing it, it should just clip on
