The engine mounts on the 2000 range fit to a crossmember which in turn is bolted to the chassis legs. I'm pretty sure that the holes (3 each side) exist in the Stag chassis leg. In this case, the 2000 style cross member should bolt straight on!
Remember that there are 2 type of cross member - with and without the ARB mountings.

Dave, I took a 6 out of my Stag recently but the x member is still fitted. The attached might help, especially the second one. It bolts on instead of the anti roll bar but not quite in the same holes. 015.jpg018.jpg. I dont need that x-member any more if you want one.
Mike if you're anywhere near Henley it would be good to get together for a pint sometime.
Cheers

Thanks to you both for your info this is the type of fitting I used many years ago using the engine / crossmember from a t.2500s and keeping the anti roll bar. I would like to use the exsisting mounts on the body thus using the side mounts on the engine as tr6/vitesse. anyone any info on this please or photos. Thanks Dave
