Just incase you you can't tell ; I am fairly pleased that after much head scratching, much testing,replacement solenoid, replacement wiring, topping up gearbox, bending of metal, sawing a spanner in half plus filling it down and DOING UP ONE BL**DY nut I now have a MOD Stag with a fully functioning overdrive

There is something great about a working overdrive - a triumph i owned previouslywas foolishly bought without OD, after realising my mistake i spent a couple of days fitting one and the car was completely transformed - like driving a new car - i can understand your happiness !
