    Spit/Rotator advice (not Stag Related)

    Afternoon all

Looking for a bit of advice or recommendation ( not Stag related )

I am rebuilding a classic Mini and have completed all the work on the front end, wings front panel, door steps A panels Inner wings all replced or repaired. I now need to get the old girl upside down to do the underside and rear end and want to achieve this using a Rotator or Spit.
Has anyone purchased one and would recommend a supplier. There's a couple on the Bay one simple using a pole through the middle of the car and the other more complicated. The mini doesn't have bumper mounts strong enough so the suspension mounts need to be used.
Or alternatively, has anyone got a set of drawings/plans for one which I could have a look at, they look fairly simple and I am tempted to weld my own up too. But sometimes it's better to bite the bullet an spend the time on the restoration, I get sidelined to easily
Appreciate any pointers before I shell out.
    Cheers
    Glyn

I used an old mattress and some tyres, worked fine as a mini shell is quite light.

Thanks, I did consider this and also some large old tyres. But my Stag is fairly close and I wanted something secure to hold it whilst I work on it. I have also replced all the front end and the thought of denting anything gives me the shivers!

I have just secured a decent jig for the job which is a good sturdy bit of kit and will come in handy for other "jobs" I may not yet have planned!!

      Regards
      Glyn
