Yours, confused.
I quite fancy the idea myself, if they fit ok.

I assure you, it will fit, mine did honest! It is a tight squeeze though, unlike the original, the speaker is fitted to the under side of the dash's speaker opening, there is just enough room to push the speaker in from the top, narrow edge to the opening's wide gap and turn once in, pushing back up from below. The glove box will need to be removed, believe me. I refined someone else's idea, who wrote on this forum with some pictures, unfortunately I didn't take any as I fitted mine.
I made four small adapter plates to marry between the speakers fixing holes and the dash's. They have nuts welded over holes at 20mm ctrs, two at one end one at the other. Hopefully the attached sketch will help. The plates, double nut end, was fitted to the top of the speaker fixing tabs by screws from what would be the under side of the speaker, before inserting it into the dash, orientating the plates as closely as possible bringing the inner fixing holes in alignment with the centres of the dash's fixing holes, minor adjustment to suit was achieved afterwards but the plates shouldn't be loose, we don't want any rattles. Electrical connections were made while the speaker was loose beneath the dash. Four screws from above were passed through the dash's fixing holes in to the inner fixing points to pull up the speaker to it final position, if you chose this method please ensure the length of these screws are short so as not to make contact with the speaker cone. Then with the top grill fascia fitted it was finished!

The red outline is the speaker, fixing centres and plates. The black being the existing opening and fixing centres.

I fitted the retrosound 5x7 R-57N (now R-57UK) via the removed glove box and it fitted really exacly between the upper sheet metal of the air duct and the underside of the dashboard. No fixing was needed and after 10' Km it still sits where I placed it.
Against the dust I have glued a thin fabric over the rim of the speaker. Pefect sound, a certain stereo effect and excellent bass quality.
