M&M, if you have been waiting a while, please contact Stephen Kiefer who is the Insurance Liaison Officer and will sort it for you.
Lovely colour car by the way
Hi Martin, this has been happening for a couple of years now, I don't know what the connection is between Soutter and SOC, but it's not good enough, time to find someone who will even bother to answer emails ! ! ! I'm aware that Steve will sort it, but it takes far too long, and it just keeps happening! I'm with Phil, TSSC, simple, reliable. quick and accurate. Martin.
Martin, you are quite right, its poor. I can confirm that this is appearing on the committee's agenda and has been discussed for while now and progress is being made. Between now and then, if anyone has problems in getting their valuations, please PM me or speak to Stephen Kiefer.
Cheers
Andrew
OK Andrew, I'll take your word for it. My Footman James renewal has just come in at an inflated price, I thought I'd look again at the SOC but knew there was no point, so I didn't bother and just paid up.
This, as I'm sure you know, is not the first time something done for the members has gone pear shaped and taken FAR too long to sort out ! ! Martin.
Stuart Souter used to run SOC spares when I used them 25 years ago.Back then the parts choice and supply were second to none.I used to spend about £2k a month with them for my small Stag dedicated workshop.Stuart was always polite and helpful and for that reason I used them for many years.
The internet has changed all our lives and business in general.I dont know why Stuarts business has not moved forward as his service was always first class.
I can only tell it as I see it,and I for one would like to see SOC spares(run by Stuart) back to the forefront of Stag spares sales.
Perhaps we should be asking him why? rather than slating him on this forum for things he has not done.
One thing that tends to be forgotten a little on the forum is that some of these people worked tirelessly in the early days of the club and without them the club would not be where it is today..

Rant over....
How do you propose doing that ? I completely agree about the debt we owe the old hands, but ultimately the club is for, and about, the members ! If Mr Soutter is ill, or having difficulties, he should let somebody know, not simply ignore attempts at communication. I think most of us have enough humanity to stand by him ! Martin.
