The 50p trick?

Because I only have a single garage at my house, I keep the Stag in my Mother's garage.

She rang me this morning to say that the Npower man had come to read the meter (which is in the garage)

She told me that he was impressed by seeing the Stag and seemed to know a bit about them (a little knowledge etc..)

He apparently asked "can your son do the 50p trick on the engine?"

What did he mean?

Ah.

I thought that it was something to do with how smooth - or otherwise - the engine was running.

Surely that is a good test on any car, not just a Stag.
