Might be worth giving Towergate a call.

They do the TR Register scheme and I've only ever heard good reports. They are now offering insurance on all Triumphs. Not sure if you have to join the Register though to take advantage of the scheme.

Here is the link on the TR Register web page. http://www.tr-register.co.uk/member_services.php

    Regards

Alan, never go for the cheapest, its the quality of the cover which unfortunately people suffer when it comes to a claim. Saying that, there have been people on here that have had a good service.

Going to follow this with interest.
Havent owned a classicfor 25yrs but have just aquired a stag. Doubt it will be on the road for at least 6mths.
However my daily runner is due for renewal next week, its insured wth Admiral, so , since they are advertising there multicar policies i thought i would ask.
Yes they do insure some classics and the stag is one. They wanted £699, 2000ml/year just for my stag.
So i'll ring any companies recomended, not paying that much

thanks for all the replys guys, i did take advice from here last time,
i was with Performance direct, never again, big problems with them money wise, no claims etc, just the renewal and how THEY DECIDED to take the renewal premium, i cancelled it via email, they took 10 per week out of my bank, never notifyed me, when i asked why they had taken the money, which they had from card details i had given them 12 months previeous, they do not accept emails as cancelation, in writing only, then i had to claim back what they had taken and send proof i had insured the car with another company!! before i got a refund

the new premium, i thought it was ok, just wanted to be sure, thanks for the comments though, has anyone got a pointer for the club insurance just so as i can compare?

              cheers guys for the help

I used Peter James Insurance - I picked up a quote form a show. Somewhere just above £150 I think it was. Unlimited mileage European cover Inc. Breakdown. etc.

(Car stored outdoors and no mention made of an alarm, although I do have one).

                  Rgds

                      Hi Alan

Try Peter James. That's who we are with at the moment after Footman came in with a large increase on their renewal.

                      Regards
