As long as it is in good nick it will be fine. Mods to mine are a Wards Supergill Rad and electronic ignition.
Aside from a quick check on fluids I would be happy to jump in mine and drive it the length of the country. I can't say I would have been so happy when I bought it first though!
The way I see it, people tend to sell cars like the Stag - or any old car simply because they don't use them. This inevitably means that you get a few teething troubles to start with, but with maintenance and time (and money) you end up with a car that is quite happy mixing up with modern traffic.

So the Stag is a great daily driver......

LMAO! Anyways, joking aside, will be great to see another "newbie" in the Stag world, Dizzybint. Looking forward to pics of the new car, but PLEASE don't call it "the Old Girl" unless you're on a pension!

All I want Fair Body Def Decant Hood Engine To Be Loved and Serviced So I can Just Drive and Get odd bits when Needed If I can Leave it as is that's good

A kill switch or similar anti-theft device so you don't fret about it whilst its parked up
Upgrade the headlights so all four work on "dip" and "main" to enable you to see where your going at night.
