    Bonnet adjustment?

Sure this is a simple well known problem but I'd really appreciate suggestions

The driver side top corner of my bonnet 'flaps' at speed, the near side is fine

    Is there an adjustment?

    Thanks

    Hi Martyn
You should have bonnet rubber buffers on each side, have you? If you have, you can always pack them underneath for a bit more height. The starting point is to get the bonnet level each side, the pack the buffers so that it takes up any play. You can simply add a washer underneath them when you undo the screw. Saying that, you shouldnt really have to. I know the silcone versions of the buffers are softewr, so you may have these fitted.

Hi Martyn, try adjusting the bonnet catch downwards, slacken the four bolts, and tap it downwards with a small hammer, this should draw the bonnet down against the buffers. Make certain your bonnet release cable is a good one in case you draw it down too far. Martin.
