Dilemma

I have a major diary clash and don't know what to do. My School reunion - now we are all 40 or thereabouts is on the same day as the Brands hatch run.

To be fair I had a rubbish time at school and most of the people I did hang around with seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth. However it will be curious to see old faces again. Especially as I am now in contact with a few of them as 'friends' on Facebook. Oddly one of whom used to give me a pretty hard time, but happens to be the event organiser.

On the flip side, last autumn I said I would invite my Stepsister and her husband up to the Brands hatch event. They had a rough time last year after being involved in a nasty traffic accident in France whilst on a motorbike (Not their fault - a 4WD ploughed right into the side of the bike). They are both doing well, but my sister is still not back to work some 8-9 months later. I haven't asked them yet and it is a long time since I mentioned it so I doubt they will remember.

Decisions Decisions what should I do?

Don't worry about the spelling If it was a mixed school you went to then go to the reunion if not go to brand's Graham

Unless you want to land on the lawn with your private helicopter and say "Yah Boo, Sucks to You" to anyone, then it's a no-brainer: Live for the present & future, not for the past!

given the cicumstances that would be an easy one for me dave id be going to brands with sis and bro in law.........theres always another reunion but THERES ONLY ONE BRANDS HATCH second verse all singalong now theres only one brands haaatch ,theres only one........................................

Sounds to me like you have answered your own question. You didn't enjoy school and you may be able to bring some pleasure into your relations lives.
I'd take Drew's suggestion a step further, land on the lawn in the helicopter, a few introductions and then go to Brands.

BTW, spelling of dilemma looks ok to me. I also grew up being taught that it was dilemna but it seems in hindsight that this was a load of doo doos

I'd go to the school re union....... LIAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIAR pants on fire!!!!!!! By the pole and statistical analysis you have no choice. Brands Hatch every time and Drive the Stag as much as possible

Dave, for me it would be Brands every time. I haven't seen anyone I went to school with for a very long time, thinking back, I didn't like many of them so I wouldn't bother with a reunion myself, but then I am fast becomming a miserable git!!!
