    Power steering fluid

Checked all fluid levels today and went for a decent drive. Now that the car is fully cold just checked all levels again and the power steering fluid level is now 3 inches higher and just under the filler cap. Is this stag paranoia or is something nasty about to happen?

If you look closely at the PAS dipstick, you'll see hot and cold levels, check against those, if it's showing too high, you've over-filled it, if it's low, look for leaks. Martin.

      Hi Martin,
When i checked it before I went out the level was mid way between min and max. Now that the car is cold again the level is just below the filler cap but I have not put any fluid in.

Sorry for the slow reply, hard drive's playing silly buggers. The only thing that can push the level up, is air, if the PAS is working, i.e. not jerky, there's nothing wrong ! Get some fluid out to return it to the proper level and keep checking, hot, and cold. Don't forget that the Stag is a car, applying logic is a lost cause Martin.
