It struck me while wandering around at Stoneleigh last weekend, that a lot of Triumph owners looked, frankly, to be getting on a bit. I wonder if this applies to Stag owners ?

Remove the word "on" from your phrase "getting on a bit" changes the whole complexion of your question and poses another question with a different meaning alltogether!!!Originally posted by martin View PostIt struck me while wandering around at Stoneleigh last weekend, that a lot of Triumph owners looked, frankly, to be getting on a bit. This is quite interesting because it seems to be confirming what I suspected. Stag owners are mostly of an age where they knew about Stags from their younger days or maybe some of the lucky ones even owned one back in the seventies. I find that when out and about in my Stag a lot of interest is shown by much younger folk. Some of them even teenagers. Quite a few have never seen a Stag before and have no idea what it is. Clearly the club membership of the future will come from the younger generation so there is an awareness and education job to do. Maybe this is something for the marketing team to look at. An idea might be to print off some information leaflets on the car and the club that all members can keep in their cars and hand out to the many admirers. John
