Alan I have plenty of UNC or UNF bolts at work I cannot remember if that one has a special shoulder length etc if you or anybody has the length spec etc I can make or adapt one to spec and pop it in the post to you let me know.
what can i say, you are all really great, i have accepted Dave's very kind offer, thanks again Dave. i knew you would sort me out guys, i did try LD first, then noticed they were closed.
again a very big thank you
i have a feeling it has snapped off at some point so it's a bigger job than it looks, i'm thinking of the worst, drill out re-tap etc on the spider
thanks guys love the forum and the people on it
Alan
The bolts are high tensile and the originals have a long shank and short thread. I replaced mine a couple of years ago and bought the replacements from LD part. They are the nearest currently available and are high tensile bolts, but have a standard thread length. They have caused me no problems.
I should have the ones I took off knocking around somewhere. If Dave can't find his let me know!
