I pick my new toy up on Saturday and i would like to know what would be the best treatment for leather seats, with so many products on the market what would you recommend in terms of quality and cost.
I agree with Julian - I use Liquid Leather on my "toy". The Gentle Cleaner is absolutely amazing - does exactly what it says on the bottle. Their dyes and renovators are great too. I took a sample of leather to them in Todmorden and they mixed a perfect dye which I use on the scuffed bits of the seat bolsters every year or so to freshen them up.
Nice Adrian. I had a new 75 tourer club se diesel (BMW engine) back in 02. Really nice car if just a little under powered, much nicer inside and better to drive than my passat.
have you still got your saab and what one, only just got mine running again been out of action november lost the keys, and saab was to dear

Hi Dave. SAAB is long gone, had a 95 aero convertible. Not the best car I've owned, my Focus ST is far better in terms of quality and reliability (and faster!!)
Another user of the Gliptone products. Great items with proven results. On my old 944 they took off the 'creamy' leather cleaner the previous owner used and restored the seats back to their soft 'Linen leather' colour. Initially I thought I had stained the seats until I realised that they really were that white out of the factory!
If your leather is good, a quick wipe down with the products will do the job. For badly stained seats, gently go over them with the cleaner and a soft brush.
