Working on the Stag

Come to think about it......working on the Stag (mechanically) is as easy as pie.
I have done a few jobs on my Audi TT, saved my self a huge amount of money ( following DIY threads on the TT forum), but modern cars require that much more care and the modern gizmo knowledge.
I have started to do a few jobs on the Stag for Summer enjoyment and, if I may speak a Hyperbole, I can work on the stag blind folded. And what an enjoyble experience it is as well!!!
Give me a classic/old car anyday......

If you've got a decent set of tools, plenty of patience, and don't mind getting your hands dirty, then got to agree with you.
I always try to fix things on my Stag myself, but don't go near my wife's Honda as it's full of electronic chips that need specialist diagnostic equipment.
It does help though if you have the space, and a pit or a hoist would be great, me - I have to everything in our communal car park, but at least I don't have to worry about the weather.

To be fair, my moderns are looking easier than diagnosing my Stag at the moment!

A good choice of red sports car anyway .
