Um - what's wrong with a white Stag?
White cars are becoming very fashionable - and how convenient it is that my Stag is still the same white it was when it left the factory...........
And whilst it is off the road right now - if all the repairs are complete and the weather is nice - it might just be going through Henley next weekend!
Adrian.

with a servo cannibalisedfrom a blue stag...my knuckles are still sore.
Isis a meet would be great, maybe one evening in April after the clocks go forward, some excellent hostelries near Henley - The Crown at Pishill, 5 Horsehoes in Maidensgrove, i'm happy to coordinate.

If you thought it was bad getting it off your car Paul - that was a quiet stroll throught the park compared to making it fit mine! Where inner wing had been beaten about to make the Dunlop servo fit - that meant an ordinary one now wouldn't. Cue beating of inner wing with a hammer. Then all the stud spacing was wrong - so that meant removing the pedal box to hack that around, and then enlarge the holes in the bulkhead. Then one of the hydraulic lines for the master cylinder had the wrong thread on it - so now we're into butchery of the brakepipes as well. So - it is now physically in place - plumbing to be finalised tomorrow. Front suspension and hubs rebuilt (£100 worth of odd size bearings and oil seals!) with the shiny new custom brake discs, and fitted to the car today - along with lots of lovely fresh black yucky grease in the CV joints and shiny new rubber boots on the driveshafts. So far so good. If it's finished by the weekend - I feel a trip to Henley coming on.
Then cue meeting with a journalist (Clssic and Sportscar I think), and Ferguson Capri, Mustang and Jensen a week on Monday!
And I'm up for a beer meeting - wherever it may be.

Sounds like you deserve a beer after that, good luck with the last few tasks. Let me know if you get rolling this week and are heading this way.
I'll start a new thread soon - Meet and Beer nr Henley, see how many we can get together
