Cant argue with that Bruce, did about 60 miles today just for the hell of it, spent about 2 hours sunning it at Boxhill not a good start to the day for the Peugeot on it's roof in the middle lane of the A3 at Cobham, Surrey though the good thing was that although there were three cars involved it looked like nobody was hurt.

So frustrated. Sort top is in the lounge waiting to go back on the car, hard top on the car waiting to go back in the bedroom (yes really!) and no one around to help me lift it off. Gutted! I had to settle for driving with the windows open! Hopefully normal service will return tomorrow afternoon.!
Decided it was prudent to take the top off a week early and go out for a spin in the glorious weather. Got 10 miles down the road to be greeted by a horrible grating noise! Nursed it back home - mucho play in the viscous coupling! Thank you very much!
Make the most of the good weather. I plan to have the engine running again in the next few days and a BBQ on Tuesday or Wednesday. Both things guaranteed to bring a shower of rain.

Hello Big J, long time no here. I too am in need of a new VC. How are you enjoying the car otherwise?
