    Can't believe it!

Finished all the rear poly bushing, fitted my brand new second hand eBay half shaft (bargain) ready today to take the old girl out in the sun. Noticed a drop of water on the garage floor underneath the bottom hose so there I was underneath poking around with a screw driver trying to tighten up the jubilee clip. I couldn't understand why I couldn't do it up any more and the drip was still dripping. Get impatient as you do I got hold of the bottom hose and gave it a tug. Now bear in mind we are talking about a two month old re cored rad. Whoosh there i was covered in coolant I was soaked. Oh yes the jubilee clip was tightened up just fine, the monkey that had assembled my rad obviously forgot to solder the bottom pipe on. At least it didnt happened miles from home and overheat my engine!!!

Good job you did'nt notice it after your run (hot engine) otherwise you would have been more than soaked

I'm so glad I noticed it before I went out for a drive although I have done about 100 miles with this radiator.
