    Lovely day for self indulgence

OK - I did actually do three useful bits of work first - new choke cable and control, fitted new (original) bonnet seal, and completely installed and adjusted the entire tonneau cable mechanism.

But then, I succumbed to weakness and did a temporary fit of the driver's seat so I can drive it in and out of the garage. Does anyone notice anything unusual about my car ?

OK, OK, I scratched the door and it's coming back next weekend !

That is going to be one gorgeous car (and I don't mean the one in the background!!)

Doesn't look too far off completion. This is the best bit of a restoration, putting all the shiny, new parts on.

    Regards

I can remember looking over my sisters fence about 20 years ago when they said chap next door just bought a stag , i was looking over the fence in a flash and it was fantastic in magenta !

Edd you aren't doing all this hard work for someone else, finish it to suit you and beggar fashion.

Having said that Adrian popped round yesterday in his 4x4 and I have to say it did look smashing even though it's white.......
