    Other 2 wheel classics

Being that Drive it Day is coming up soon and knowing a few club members with bikes, I thought it was time for another poll.

As well as owning your Stag:-
    22
Do you own a classic motor bike?
    18.18%
    4
Do you own a non classic bike?
    18.18%
    4
Have you ever owned a classic bike / daily bike at the same time as a classic car?
    36.36%
    8
You have never owned a bike at the same time?
    27.27%
    6

    The poll is expired.

Yes. That saddle is hell if you've got an incontinence problem.

Be my guest Andrew! What's a classic bike and a non-classic bike?

Non classic bike is a modern bike probably used on a daily basis from and to work and the classic falls into the Drive it Day classic, the same as the Stag.

The third option above basically means that you have previously owned both at the same time.

I know at least three of my local members have old classic bikes as well and I am sure there are many out there within the Stag ownership

Would have loved a motor bike, but as my dad was nearly killed on one, it was made very clear to me if I bought one, life would be made difficult for me and he would destroy it. Then when I got married SWMBO adopted the same position!
Bizarrely a push bike was acceptable to both despite being hit by a motorist whilst I was riding it and ending up in hospital.

My daily ride, the only time it stays at home is when the White slippery stuff from the sky is on the road

Living and working in London it's the only way for me.

Not a photo Drew, but I'm sure you know that. But it is the same bike and colour but most importantly it is a Triumph

Second one I have had from New and up until earlier this year wish I hadn't bought it. not cheap at £8500, 5 years old now (11000 miles) and had 5 Batteries.one each Winter. The bike came with a 2 year warranty but the Battery was only covered for 6 months Basically it's not up to the job. it's taken me all this time to find a replacement with higher CCA and Amp hours that is.

I had the 955cc model prior to this that never missed a beat apart from a broken throttle cable.

Dont know which box to tick? Had a Ninja last year, now got a Stag, talking to a guy about buying his Ducati Peso.

Got it!, tick box 3. Owned a Mk1 Consul and a Norton Commando in the late 80's, steve

To be honest, I wasn't 100% certain - I know some peops get such professional photies done of their P&J's. Not too expensive either, especially if arranged by a club.

My two wheeler will, I'm sure, become a classic one day! Until then I shall just use it once or twice a year to practice falling off at junctions!

I am quite surprised that so many of you have bikes, and why not. So, when it comes to Drive it Day, which one with you drive?
