Front panel replacement

Hi,
talking about the panel in front of the bonnet, between the wings and joining the headlamp panel.
I can see easily that it is spot welded front and rear but how does it mount were it meets the front wings.
Does it tuck under the wings or is it a butt joint with sealer? steve

originaly it was spot welded to the wings before the headlamp panel was fitted,now you would have to seam weld and then run a line with angle grinder though the weld

Or you can fill the joint and have it seamless!

i do like that colour it grows on you ,hows the rebuild going we have not seen any pictures lately

Its slow!

I have a drive line front to back with modified SD1 propshaft and reinforced diff extension. Mounted the diff with poly bushes.

Getting parts for rear suspension sorted out at the moment so all the work is underneath .... therefore not a lot of pics!
