We would like to take the opportunity to thank all the organisers of this year's ESM. We have just got back from Kent, where we had a fantastic weekend. The organisation was faultless as usual. These people have again reached very high standards. It was good to meet up with a couple of Forum members, including the Forum's very own Carl Fuss who I know was one of the team who put this great weekend together. If you have never participated in an ESM I can highly recommend to you that to you do. The European Stag Owners are always great company and we look forward to Holland next year. Again thanks to the SOC.

On behalf of the organising committee, thanks for your kind words. It was a lot of work which almost took over our lives for two years but it is all worth it when we receive a positive feedback.

The ESM sounded great a shame I couldn't afford to come!

Whats this about Maastrict are we signing a treaty?

Hi Stustag,

It's a pity you couldn't come to any of the events, especially as you are already in Kent. We went to great pains to make the events open on a daily basis i.e. you didn't have to buy the whole accommadation package, which I admit was a bit expensive. You could have just bought one day events, say the Train Ride or the Port Lympne visit or even just turned on the day and paid the public entrance rate and parked with us.

The full package was aimed primarily at the European Stag owners and for those coming from a long distance to Kent.

Next year, the ESM will be in Maastricht and if any of the previous Dutch ESMs are to go by, will be a good one (not as good as the Ashford one though!). You could sign a treaty to the excellence of Dutch beer of course.

If I lived in Kent I would of come down for the day, unfortunately Tenbury Wells is in Worcestershire! So a little far to travel for the day!

From what i have seen on the Forum it looked like a fantastic event and you should all be proud of what you achieved.

I hope the Worcestershire branch of which I am a member achieves the same success with the National Day in July.
