Interesting selling technique

There is a Stag listed on Ebay, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/triumph-st...item2c6473d6a2 at the end of the listing there is a published question.

It is a request for a contact telephone number so that a viewing can be arranged. The response declines the request to view the car because it would not be fair on the other bidders.

First time I have heard that one!

An unusual approach I would agree, not least as it's got to be better to have someone view before bidding so they can't quibble after.

I viewed the ad originally on my phone, now that i have seen it on PC I know what you meant Martin. Quite some filler work been carried out on that little baby!

Sadly, it looks like he could have done Unfortunately, there are gullible people around - it had been bidded up to £2300 but, for some reason, then withdrawn !
