Hi, I am always leaving my indicators on (they do cancel most times but not always) and the display on the dash is useless particularly on a sunny day with the top off. Any ideas of an audio or visual mod. I am sure others have had this problem!
Sounds perfect. I knew someone would know. Actually hope it's not too high pitched cause I'm old and virtually senile and my hearing's rubbish! Forgot what the question was now.

No, it's not too loud, you could also change the flasher for a more modern one, do some searching on here, the modern unit sounds louder anyway, I didn't bother refitting my mod unit after changing the flasher.
Whilst we are talking Flashers. Is there a way to increase the rate of flash when the revs drop off. Mine is very very slow when turning right for instance. It passed it's MOT but would like it improved. Mike

Easy fix,
just buy an electronic one from someone like Robsports, about £ 12 I think.

As Ian said change the flasher unit for a modern eletronic one which are not affected by voltage drop as are the old mechancial ones Graham The South london lad has beat me to it again

Swap the old flasher unit for a new electronic one like this
I can recommend this unit. Even works fine with the trailer connected and engine on tickover. I also have a home-made indicator warning buzzer, so plenty of load on the flasher unit and it works immediately, whereas with the old one there was a short warm-up period which meant a delay to the indicators actually starting. Money well spent.
