I haven't been drinking, not have I lost my mind.
We are all in good company on here then
I was very pleased having covered over 300 miles this weekend (first drive of the year) that my new oil pump (fitted as part of my over winter works) was doing its job at a very healthy pressure
Whilst I was ecstatic my family were just happy for me lol

Glad that your oil pump worked out for you

Was at Gaydon over the Easter period (1st ever visit) and enjoyed it.
Quite surprised to see my old Pedal car there though (see pic below).
One thing I was dissappointed with was the lack of Sunbeam cars on display,
I used to own a Mk3A Rapier and if not one of those would have expected to see an Alpine or Tiger on the upper floor display.

With just a modest tool kit I was pleased having changed the mains and big end shells, pump was Knacxxxxd and cause of problems and managed to get a decent straight sump pan and clean cross member to bolt on as well to replace bent rusty parts
I must admit my stomach turned at the 'stench' of 'thick sludge' in the old sump pan, hadnt been off for about 20 years and thinks now my oil has a chance of staying clean and doing its job now keeping engine clean and lubed now
