    rear wheel bearings

Hello everyone, could anyone tell me if there is any adjustment to the rear wheel bearings, i have some slight play in the rear wheels when rocked side to side, i have been told by my mate who takes my family fleet for mot's this is an mot failure so i will need to fix it.
I have studied my manuals and have not got a clue what they are on about, but given the fact special tools are mentioned usually means... money and grief not necessarily in that order ... so to recap is it adjustment or is it exchange drive shafts....Steve

Previous posts from "those that know" have indicated that play cannot be taken up with the drive shaft/hub in situ. I have the same problem as you and I have purchased a hub/drive shaft exchange unit which is still sitting on my kitchen floor, but I will get around to fitting it soon. My play was an advisory, so I'm in no rush.
