How about a series on classic automotive electrics. E.g. Basic theory (V=IR, P=IV etc), Wire types and selection, How to make good joins/connections/crimps, Relays explained (ratings, SPNO, SPNC, SPCO etc.), Battery charging, Diodes, Rheostats, Coils/Points, Fuse selection (especially in light of the recent discussion about modern fuse ratings), Tachometers, fault-finding, adding illumination, fog lights, indicator buzzers, light on warnings, etc. ?

I enjoyed that article too, gives the magazine an extra dimension. Have to say that my biggest problem is making assumptions, you know , that must be working it always has or that bit should be OK I only replaced it a couple of weeks ago. Experience has taught me to always check and not assume! Mind you surprising how often I forget my own advice and end up completely in the wrong place and have to go back to the beginning.
