Anybody from the forum going to the Runswick Bay Triumph weekend this weekend?
Ive not been for a couple of years but its usually a good event so decided to go again this year.
Took today off work to get a few jobs done on the Stag in preparation for driving up to Runswick on Friday.First task was to fix the drivers door as it wouldn't open from the inside, luckily I had a spare plastic retainer for the opening rod on the spare door Ive just bought so that was that sorted, next I fitted the HRS steering column top fixing clamp that replaces the star washer, simple solution that works well. Also replaced the head light switch as this had a habit of failing and causing the headlights to go out, usually when my wife was driving.
Removed all four wheels and cleaned them front and back, checked brakes and refitted the wheels, just got the oil and filter to change now.
Anyone got any idea which spin on filter to use? I meant to keep the old box but haven't. I can get one from Rimmers but would prefer to buy one from Allwoods.
