Fuel Tank leak & sealing (Classic non-Stag)

    Hi all,

my elder brother in UK has got a leaking alloy fuel tank on one of his Dellows. He's a bit poorly nowadays and sadly not really up to doing these types of things himself any more, so I'm wondering if anyone knows an outfit near to him (Pewsey, Hampshire) who would seal the tank - probably using a FROST type of POR15 method.

    Cheers

    Drew

    Hi Drew

I used a similar product from Frosts about 15 years ago, on a stationary engine tank.It was called "slosh tank", probably the same product renamed, it was excellent, as the name suggests, you pour it in the tank, slosh it around, pour the excess out and after 72hrs ish you can use the tank as normal.

    Cheers
    Steve
