Overflowing Carbs is the valve or could it be anything else

Hi, remove the float chamber and turn the carbs upside own, remove the gasket, now measure the height of the highest part of the float from the edge round the outside, carefully bend the tag resting on the needle valve till both floats are at 17mm. Believe me, it's much easier than it sounds, don't forget the carbs are inverted, if the measurement is less than 17mm the floats are too high and the carb can flood. Martin.
