Just had my renewal from RH £150.42 5000miles agreed value 14,500 inc breakdown. Had quote from Adrian Flux £133.84 for same cover. RH wouldnt consider requoting without seeing the quote in writing so AF got the business, Peter James were a lot dearer

Doesn't make any sense, RH quoted me £225, with £8,500 value and 3,000 miles. Peter James £130 all the bells and whistles incl. unlimited milege. I know post codes make a difference but I am inside the M25.

I know what you mean.

I think the logic is easier to find in the Greek economic mess than how some quotes are calculated.

I'm 52, not been involved in any accident for at least 7 years, never have had any endorsement on my license, live in CW3 postcode (rural Cheshire=low risk) and yet they've quoted me £165 for £12,500 value and 3,000 miles.
