    Lancaster - not Stag related

How things make you smile. The BoB Flight Lancaster went over our house today at about 11:05 at about 500 ft. An amazing noise that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Brilliant, Merlin is one of the few noises better than my V8

Flew low over our house about 11.50 (Leighton Buzzard), great to see and hear!

      Wonder where it's heading?

There used to be an engineering unit at Exeter airport that serviced piston-engined aircraft. We used to se lots of DC3s and the like and the BoB flight often stopped over when doing displays down our way. Sadly this facility has closed down now, so I miss seeing/hearing these beauties. We still get regular visits from the Red Arrows, but they just make a noise...........

I saw it to, flew directly overhead very low heading towards Windsor then it came back 20 mins later and headed off in the direction of Wycombe (over Paul's house)
            What was the event?
