Need a car for a wedding

Cheeky ask,

As mentioned in previous post my daughters wedding is coming up (9th June) and I am supposed to be taking her to the church in my Stag but it is a bit out of sorts at the moment and I don't know if there is a quick easy answer to its problems and it may not be available.

So, would anyone mind lending me theirs for a day or two? I of course would cover all costs, insurance, fuel etc.

May not be needed but I need a reserve plan and QUICK!!!!!!!!!

If you get really stuck and only need it for the church run and photo's I might be able to help, but it would only be for the day as we've got a show on the Sunday, I would be willing to come down on Saturday morning as early as needed, but must be back Saturday night.....The car is red with white interior....but we have taken the back seats out and thats all covered in you may have seen it about, I hope somebody closer to you will come forward it's about a 200 ml round trip from here.............................but the offer is there if needed.

Hi Roger that is tremendously kind of you but I really couldn't put you to that much trouble. I plan to ask my local group as they don't all come on here.If nothing happens I can hire one fairly locally for £400 for a long weekend, even more expense!

I am sure the Stag will cure itself as soon as I pay for hire car, kind of luck I am having at the moment.

The car is coming off the road for a while so I decided to go mad and have hired a self drive 1975 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow for a long weekend to include the wedding! I think my daughter might be relieved as we won't have to worry about rain or her very expensive hair do being blown a part. Apparently between 11 and 17 to the gallon as it is 6.5 litres and the power output is 'adequate' as I am sure you all know. Will make the Stag seem positively miserly on fuel .
