    Apliersaurus

Johny blissfully unaware that he was being creative whilst derusting some of his ancient pliers.
Sheila comes back from the shops... Ooo look, why are you making a dinosaur?...

The only thing NEW about the hacksaw is the blade.

If you look through Apliersaurus ribcage, Steve, you'll see a Red Stagosaurus lurking. I've just been attempting to tame it with an offer of new shoes but it's just bitten a chunk out of my finger...

Five pairs, Steve. I dream of having five pairs.
I like tools, I also inherited my dad's (ex mechanic) and various uncle's tools. I used to run three old cars so had to keep a toolset in each... then there's my work tools...

Last week, I emptied out all the various boxes and put them together. I think there's 28 here. I know there's a few others over at some flats I'm doing up in Swansea...
As for the spanners, the days of AF were ok but then came metric and of course I then had to start collecting those weird Whitworth/BSF jobbies...

Wouldn't surprise me Andrew although I don't know how old you are!
Some of my tools were my dad's who trained in the REME national service and he had things passed on to him.
I've got loads of newer stuff but it's nice to use tools that been around for generations. It's like they've got soul...

Pliersaurus ribs were some of his and now have handles dipped in a tin of white hammerite.

This all started when I decided to buy a big container of derusting fluid...
